Water Charges - Online Petition

Changes in water charging structures in a number of regions mean that churches are being charged on the same scale as businesses leading to large (e.g. 1300%) increases in bills.

If you would like to petition the Prime Minister to instruct water companies to revert to charging churches as charities please visit the official website http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/ChurchWaterBills/

Hope 2008 is an initiative of the churches of Britain and Ireland which is helping to demonstrate Christian faith in action and to explain the meaning of that faith in villages, towns and cities throughout the UK.
