Note: I read the longer 442-page version published by Kingsway that includes the sermons/chapters on the gifts of the Spirit (those chapters were previously published under the title, Prove All Things), as there is a 280-page abridged version of this book out there that doesn't include those chapters. I couldn't escape the fact that these were two distinct Trinitarian Persons administering two separate baptisms. Having said all that, the good thing about the book is the reality of the 'baptism of the Holy Spirit'. Another question unanswered is about the impact of the coming of the Holy Spirit in the broad community. An inspiring read, even if I'm not 100% convinced of his conclusions. I felt downright childlike (like a true beginner) in the things of the Spirit as I read it. Good book, highly recommended.
